Mary Catherine McKenna

At Wedgewood Manor on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 of Mary Catherine McKenna, formerly of Newton, aged 90 years.  Wife of the late Emmett McKenna.  Mother of George (Karen) of Lower Sackville; David, Charlottetown; Robert (Joy), Newton and Raymond, Miscouche.  Also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by husband, Emmett; infant daughter, Mary Catherine; brothers, Louis and Joseph;  parents Walter and Catherine (White) Murtagh and step-mother, Elizabeth Brennan.  Visitation at Kinkora Place on Friday, March 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on Saturday, March 24 at 10 am.  Memorial donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Malachy’s Cemetery Fund.  Interment later in the parish cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
