Helen Teresa Hammill (McIssaac)

HAMMILL (MCISAAC), Helen Teresa, age 88 years of Kensington and formally of Newton, PE, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2022 at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, PE surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born on April 17, 1933, to Joseph and Nolean McIsaac of
Uigg/Vernon River, PE.

She was the beloved wife for 67 years to her husband, Eric. She is also survived by sons Robert (Natalie) and Preston. "Grammy" to grandchildren Kailey (Nathen), Cameron, Tayler, and great grandchildren Alexa, Owen, Daxxen and Huxxley, as well as special family members Marilyn Warren, Mary, Angela, and Victoria Arsenault.

Helen’s greatest love was her family and grandchildren and, of course, "The Family Farm". Her passion for baking always welcomed family and friends into her kitchen. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Resting at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora for visiting hours on, Monday, March 28 from 2 to 5 p.m., (for family members, relatives and by invitation). Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on Tuesday, March 29 at 2 p.m.  Members of the CWL will say prayers at 1:45 p.m. prior to Visitation.  Memorial donations in Helen's memory can be made to St. Malachy's Cemetery Fund.  Interment later in the parish cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
