Mary Dunbar

On Wednesday, April 13, surrounded by loving family in the Palliative Care Unit of the O’Leary Community Hospital, of Mary Dunbar (nee Connick) of Summerside, formerly of Kinkora, aged 83 years. Beloved mother of Monica (Louis-Christian) Boisvert and Julia (Duane) Gallant. Dedicated and devoted Nanny to Emma, Hayden, Brennan, Hudson, Sophia, Rémi, and Rayna. Loving sister to Bernice Cameron, Father Joseph Connick, Pope (Joan) Connick and Keith ( Bonnie) Fraser. Predeceased by parents Mary (McMahon) and Walter Connick, as well as siblings Margaret MacDonald, Noreen Peters, and George Connick.

Visitation at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora, on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 5-8 p.m.  Members of the CWL will say prayers prior to the visitation.  Funeral service to be held at St. Malachy’s Church, Kinkora on April 19 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the church cemetery and will be determined at a later date. All arrangements are entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mary’s memory may be made to St. Malachy’s Church Restoration Fund.
