David (Bud) Lee Walsh

David Lee Walsh, age 58 died peacefully at his home in Crapaud on Friday, March 24, 2023.  David was born in PEI on November 21, 1965 to Louis and Anetta Walsh.  David (Bud) was a valued member of the Crapaud Fire Department for 25 years.  Being a firefighter was a passion of David’s; he not only served on his local department but also as a chief on the Cavendish Farms Fire department.  Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Anetta Walsh and two brothers Douglas Walsh and Darryl Walsh.  He is survived by his partner Sandra Francis, his step-daughter Ricki (Grant) Desjardins, two grandsons, Lucas and Tyler,  and his brother Terry Walsh.  Resting at Lawless Funeral home, Kinkora.  By personal request there will be no visitation.  Funeral Services will be held at the Crapaud Community Hall on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 11 a.m. with reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, if so desired, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Society.
