It is with our love we share the passing of our loved one Donald Hillus Cairns of Cornwall formerly of North Tryon, aged 73 years at Provincial Palliative Cancer Centre with family by his side.
Beloved dad to Shawn (Tara) Charlottetown and Ryan of Sydney, Australia and grandfather to Jessica Clow-Cairns.
Born in Summerside March 3, 1950. Beloved son of the late Hillus & Blanche Cairns. Loving brother of Elaine (Noel) Potts, Argyle Shore; Grace (Joe) Tennina, Calgary Alberta; Janet (Leonard) Rogers, Cornwall and brother-in-law to Lorette ‘Lori’ Cairns, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Uncle to nieces & nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Don was predeceased by his brother Wayne, niece Grace Potts in infancy, niece Amber Jackson, and grand-nephew Chance Jackson.
Resting at Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora. No visiting hours by personal request. Funeral will be celebrated on Saturday, October 21 at 10:30 a.m. at North Tryon Presbyterian Church.
Interment in church cemetery.
Donations in memory of Don may be made to Provincial Palliative Care Centre or North Tryon Presbyterian Church and would be greatly appreciated.
