Carol Ann MacKenzie

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Carol Ann MacKenzie of Borden-Carleton on February 11, 2024, after a sudden decline in her health. Carol was born in PEI on November 12, 1966.  Waiting for her in heaven with loving open arms are her father, the late George MacKenzie and brother, the late Frank MacKenzie (Michelle).

Carol is survived by her mother, Bonnie MacKenzie (nee Dawson), brother Daniel MacKenzie (Suzanne), nephews Blake, Matthew, Brady, nieces Brooke, Reece, Charlotte, Madeline, great-niece and nephew, Elena and Frankie, and special cousin John, and Tanya. Carol loved spending time with her dad and shooting the breeze in the barn with him and his buddies. She could often be found at her ‘perch’ overlooking the Borden Harbour. If you were one of the people lucky enough to be close to Carol, you knew how big her heart was and how loyal she loved with no fuss, no muss and no apologies. We are forever grateful for sharing life’s journey with her.

As per Carol’s request, there will be no service or visitation. If so desired, memorial donations made to the Liver Association, Kidney Foundation of Canada or a local charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
