Thane Burke
1964-2026
Thane Burke, age 61, of Borden, PEI passed away on Monday, May 11th, 2026 at Prince County Hospital with family at his side.
He was born May 30, 1964. Survived by his mother Yvonne Burke, sister Colleen (Mike) Hammill, brothers Kevin and Blair, aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by his father Charlie, siblings Barry and Kim.
Lifelong resident of Borden where he grew up skating, swimming, playing baseball and "Raising a Little Hell."
He was passionate about fishing and the outdoors - digging clams at the shore and spending time with his many loyal (some lifelong) friends, sharing a beverage or two and enjoying bonfires.

Family and friends are invited to attend the burial service at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay on Saturday May 30th at 11:00 am. Reception to follow in the Parish basement. All are welcome. Remains entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
