For more than 15 years, Rhonda worked in the medical field, caring for others with compassion, dedication, and kindness. She had a heart for helping people and a way of making those around her feel seen, loved and valued.
Rhonda lived life with enthusiasm
and style. She loved music, dancing, and spending time with the people
she loved most. She was known for her stylish accessories, and for
always wearing the best smelling perfumes, body sprays, and hair
products. Rhonda’s signature scent always announced her
arrival before she entered a room. Whether it was finding
the best place to dance, sharing a laugh with friends, or making
memories with family, Rhonda embraced every opportunity to enjoy
life. While she enjoyed many things, mostly shopping,
nothing brought her greater pride or joy than being a
mother.
The last 16 years of her life were
devoted to her children and the activities that filled their days.
From sporting events and school functions to life's everyday moments,
Rhonda was always there. She taught her children the importance of
respect, honesty, hard work, and kindness, leading by example every
step of the way. Her love for them was fierce, unwavering, and
unconditional. The family extends their deepest gratitude to
the nurses and Palliative care physicians on 7A at the VG Hospital in
Halifax. Their compassion, exceptonal care, and uplifting
spirits brought comfort to Rhonda, her family and close friends during
an incredibly difficult time and that kindness will never be
forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, monetary
donations in memory of Rhonda will be gratefully accepted and directed
towards an education savings fund for her children, helping to support
the future she worked so hard to build for them.
Rhondas wishes were to have no visitation or Funeral but to have A Celebration of Life which will be held on Sunday, August 9th, 2026 at 1pm at The Linkletter Community Center.
Rhonda's life was far too short, but the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the countless lives she touched will remain forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Arrangements entrusted to Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora.
